Volunteer with the Bendigo Ford Fun Run
Help cheer on our participants as they take on the course, whilst making sure they don’t stray from the path!
Here’s a snapshot of the types of roles available for the Bendigo Ford Fun Run…
Event Village Champions
You’ll help with bib collection, guiding participants to the startline, general enquiries and being a friendly face for our event!
First Aid Marshals
In each group of marshals, we will need a first aid marshal to provide immediate first aid if required. You will need to have your first aid certificate or equivalent to look after our participants in this role.
Drink Station Attendants
We will need plenty of extra hands on deck to help keep our participants hydrated at our drink stations on event day. These are situated on course and at the event village.
Finish / Recovery Zone
One of the fun jobs: congratulating our participants as they cross the finish line and ensure they enjoy the post-event recovery zone. This will include chopping and preparing fruit plus filling up water cups for post-race refreshments.
Pre-Event Volunteer Briefing Session
There will be a Pre-Event Volunteer Briefing Session held via Zoom in the lead up to the event.
It is expected that all volunteers attend this session to understand your roles and responsibilities, and have the chance to ask (and get answers!) to any questions you might have.
Date: Thursday 24th February 2022
Time: 7:30pm – 8:30pm
Zoom link will be sent to all registered volunteers.
